Once again, the Cleveland masses came out to support Superdee and Ricky Hype's Annual All White Affair at The Club Center. Since 2005 (and the days of 4U2B), Cleveland has come to look forward to this event to round up the Memorial Day Weekend. Fast forward 4 years later, the All White Affair has grown as the crowd gets bigger each year.
As Chat 'Bout entered the dance at an about 2am, a sea of white blazers, vests and dresses soon flowed throughout The Club Center. Partygoers enjoyed an early warm courtesy of Star Temple CB alongside Paul spinning a few lovers' rock tunes. The event's host, Superdee soon took over the sounds with a few newer tunes to get the crowd moving and wanting more.
As the vibes rose in the dance, enter guest DJ Jamie Hype (with his cutie cute date) AND photographer. The energy of the dance begins to rise as the crowd awaited the vibes to pick up - the people in the place looked good and were ready to party!
Although Cleveland has more than a few great DJ's that we can never get enough of, CBC LOVES the energy Jamie Hype from Young Hawk Sound brings to the dance. From Flavor to Dailey's to Club Center, partygoers can always look forward to some new tunes and great vibes at the bash. This DJ always comes out of a flavor for each dance...
Cleveland sound, New Horizon Monk grabbed the sounds and opened his set with his intergalactic intro. After a few slower tunes, Monk went right into a 'girl power' set to get all the ladies walking out on the floor. Co host, Ricky ?6 in da mornin' Hype also played a few tunes to take the dance to another level of hypeness.
Also in the place 'all white' were Barbie Doll/Bashment Crew - with Toya rocking the 'heavenly' white ruffle dress, Eva Ready Camille, Coolie, Ms. Donna, KC Platinum - keeping a low profile, Village, Maggie and Sharon Untouchable (ready to go from All White to Mix N Blend), Marcia (on her Earthstrong Tour until her big bash June 27th), New Horizon Curly and Fam, Kelly Kells, dancehall darlings Diamond Girls Traci and Wanda, and Daphne. Big up Sexy Rah as she was holding down the bar for the evening.
2009 is becoming the time for other cities flock to Cleveland to check our 'scene' and this bash was no different. Big up NYC Dancin' Twinz and PA Dancehall King Coogi blessin' up the dance with the latest moves. Also in the building NYC photographer Lionel Whyte (with his big ole camera and flash). Yes, Mr. Whyte was representin' in the place with his high tech camera but Cleveland showed Chat ?Bout much love with the pics (Lionel: Why do they pose for YOU like that? They so shy with me). The Year to Year All White Affair has become one of the most anticipated bashes partygoers can count on each year. For the first time in years, people had a variety of events to choose from all the happenings here for the holiday weekend, and Cleveland managed to support many of these bashes in a big way!
