The rain didn't stop the great time had by all at The 3rd Annual Jamaican Cultural Association Picnic at Euclid Creek.  The good vibes combined with some tunes and (of course) great food made this a family friendly event for people to catch up with old friends and simply relax.

Smells of corn and jerk chicken on the grill lured guests to the warmer with beef patties and Jamaican sodas: including Pineapple (my favorite), cola champagne and orange.  Not the typical picnic type food, there was plenty of Jamaican dishes including Curry and Jerk Chicken, Potato Salad, Peas and Rice and really special guests was able to taste some Curry Goat (I felt so special).   There were also some American type foods on hand including Spaghetti, Macaroni, and ?traditional' picnic foods hamburgers and hot dogs.

People always look forward to this event to catch up with old friends and talk about old times.  The mood and good vibes were set by the selector for the event, Charmaine, .  She kept the vibes nice with a mix of old and new tunes from Beres Hammond and Gregory Isaacs to a few tunes by Sean Paul and Vbyz Kartel.  Nice!

Some enjoying the time were JCA members Delroy, Kesha and Keturah.  Caribbean Flavor Gary and his daughter, Alicia (See-Shellz) and her fam and XXX Ryan.  Mrs. Veronica from Island Style was in the place as well as CGP Leisa Engel and Ajoy enjoying the time as well.

The kids always have a great time at this event as JCA rolls out a ton of games for the kids including a piņata, full of candy- of course.  The kids really enjoyed taking turns hitting the piņata until BOOM! (I even got a few pieces myself).

Big Up to the Jamaican Cultural Association of Cleveland for putting on another great event.  The JCA would like to thank everyone who came out to the picnic and welcomes you to their 2nd Annual Christmas Party on December 17th at Tizzano's Restaurant in Wickliffe.
